About Cobb County School Board Post 4

The residents of Post 4 have been under three different maps in the last 5 years due to redistricting and the federal courts tossing out maps due to violations of the Constitution. We encourage you to check your My Voter page to determine if you still reside in the post.

The current map includes parts of the cities of Acworth and Kennesaw, plus unincorporated areas of Marietta. It spans west to Highway 75, south to the northern boundary of the city of Marietta near Town Center Mall, and East along Sandy Plains road to Shallowford with Childers road being the boundary.

The elected member of Post 4 serves a 4-year term with elections every mid-term election year. This year, the election will be on November 3, 2026 along with other statewide and Congressional elections. Beginning in 2030, elections for this post will be non-partisan with election day following the primary calendar.
